The NYC Industrial & Technology Assistance Corporation (ITAC) is a leading consulting organization located in New York City. They have supported the NYC Manufacturing sector for over 30 years, providing their clients with solutions that are instrumental in growing their top and bottom lines. Their work resulted in client impact of over $114MM in 2019 alone, and with their support, their clients added over 1,000 new or retained jobs.

ITAC is looking to fill a Manager Client Services role in their NYC headquarters office.

In this role:

You will be responsible for developing a strategic sales plan based on the organization's goals and executing against it -- both directly and through other project delivery consultants.

They are looking for a proven operational leader with P&L experience in a manufacturing environment, who has a broad operational understanding of manufacturing and deep expertise in Operational Excellence/Lean and/or Digital Manufacturing, as you will be responsible for the delivery of services to manufacturers.

Additional responsibilities include:
  • The training, on-boarding, and management of project delivery consultants along with directly managing and delivering programs.
  • You will be responsible for the creation and execution of a strategic plan for client programs and services that will achieve revenue goals and ensure year-over-year revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • You will develop the ITAC team's sales and delivery capabilities by identifying and training consulting staff, so that they are better equipped to identify and contract with current and future clients.
  • You will also represent ITAC at local, regional, statewide, and national events by supporting technical demonstrations, presentations and/or workshops.
  • You will focus on continuous development of personal and professional skills to grow the organization, develop individual skills, expand ITAC's knowledge and enhance ITAC's brand.

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in technology, business, operations management, engineering or related field from an accredited university or college (MBA or advanced degree preferred) along with 5 years of in-house P&L experience; management consulting or business development experience highly desirable.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is required; knowledge of CRM (e.g. Salesforce) and project management tools, ERP,. In addition, broad working knowledge of specific manufacturing software, technologies, or processes a plus. Travel required within NY State; may require some travel (10%) outside of NY State.
