Infinity Intermodal ("II") is an asset-based refrigerated intermodal freight shipper servicing the Northwest, Midwest and East Coast with its state-of-the-art 53' containers custom built for domestic service, focusing on moving temperature-controlled products across its network.



II has an excellent opportunity for an entry level or experienced Freight Operations Specialist in our Kansas City, Missouri office located in the Crown Center area of downtown across from the famed World War I Memorial. The ideal candidate will have the motivation and drive to succeed and grow with our company while demonstrating diligent work ethic and attention to detail. The ability to multi-task and collaborate with fellow II team members is key to performing in our fast-paced, high energy work environment. Commitment to excellence in customer service, day-to-day tracking and management of movements and shipments, and personal professional development are the keys to II's success. On-the-job training will be provided to the right candidate who will strive to achieve these goals every day, bringing the positive attitude and ambition required to manage and facilitate freight movements successfully and efficiently.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Coordinating freight movements and shipments across II's network

  • Dispatching loads to move via rail and truck
  • Providing timely and accurate updates to customers throughout the pickup, shipping and delivery process
  • Tracking of shipments and container assets daily
  • Maintaining carrier and customer relationships through frequent interfacing

Requirements:
  • 
Associate or Bachelor's Degree
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Effective collaborator with team members and self-starter when working independently

  • Adept planning and organization skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • 2 -5 years' experience preferred
