Green Bay Packaging Inc. is currently seeking a Team Operations Manager – 2nd Shift at our Coated Products Operations in Kansas City, MO.
Founded in 1933, Green Bay Packaging Inc. is a privately owned, vertically integrated company consisting of corrugated container plants, folding cartons, recycled and virgin linerboard mills, pressure-sensitive label rollstock, specialty converting operations, timberlands, and a sawmill facility.

The Coated Products Operations consists of three manufacturing plants, 4 Slitting and Distribution Centers, and a majority interest partnership in Mexico. The CPO manufactures pressure sensitive label stock, utilizing a variety of face stock, adhesive and release liner combinations. Product capabilities include an expanded film line, as well as traditional paper, foil and thermal offerings.
The Team Operations Manager is responsible for providing leadership and supervisory support for our 2nd shift crew. The Team Operations Manager will work diligently to achieve a safe atmosphere committed to superior quality, service and continuous improvement. This position is an integral part of the Management Team.
Hours: 1:45pm – 9:45pm.
Overtime / Saturdays may be required, as driven by Customer demand.
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field, or Associates degree with two years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, or five plus years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to motivate and coach personnel while promoting a team environment
- Excellent organizational and strong technical skills
- Be proficient in utilizing problem solving techniques to improve the process
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
