Sales Manager



Pan-Link is a leading international cargo transportation company has an immediate opening at our New York branch located in Lynbrook, NY, for an experienced Sales Manager.

We are looking for a candidate who is dynamic, highly motivated, and reliable. Candidate must be a highly motivated, hunter type with a proven track record of sales success.

Job Duties:
  • Identify and develop relationships with key decision makers at all levels within an account
  • Understand the customer's buying process and identify all influences
  • Qualify and quantify potential growth opportunities
  • Securing & Maintaining new accounts through scheduled sales visits and cold calls. Mining existing accounts for new business.
  • Obtains sales leads and follows up with potential customer
  • Responds to customer requests for rate quotes.
  • Provides the customer with accurate, timely rate information.
  • Involved in the sales process to secure new business
  • Daily/Weekly customer sales visits
  • Updates and maintains Sales Activity
  • Updates customers on tariff/schedule/service changes
  • Help mentor younger sales staff

Sales Focus:
  • Transpacific Air/Ocean Import and Export / Customs Brokerage

Job Requirements:
  • Ideal Candidate will have knowledge of OCEAN/AIR IMPORT AND EXPORT CARGO INDUSTRY ON THE FREIGHT FORWARDING SIDE.
  • Knowledge of local markets and relationships with key decision makers within the local market.
  • The successful candidate must have good written and verbal skills and must be able to communicate with clients at all levels within the corporation.
  • Experience selling Transpacific services
  • Book of business is a big plus!!
