Requirements:
• A four year degree is the minimum education requirement.
• MBA is a plus.
• A Minimum 7 years Category Management experience in INDIRECT PROCUREMENT. Large Retail Procurement or CPG experience { high SKU's} a plus.
• Experience in working for large Fortune companies with multi-million dollar contract budgets.
• Excellent negotiations experience.
• Client will consider any industry with high SKU's or high million dollar budgets.
Strategic Procurement experience is defined as:
• Direct Negotiations with Suppliers
• Implementing short and long term procurement strategies for indirect goods and services
• Working with strategic teams to develop solutions based on low cost analysis and risk factors - vis a vie corporate wide strategic business goals
Development and implementation of best practice category sourcing strategies in regards to:
• Supplier Quality
• Cost Effectiveness
• Delivery and Risk Compliance
• Execution of RFI's and RFP's
• Documentation of bids
• Selection criteria correspondence
• Working with cross-functional teams
• Identify subcategories
• Analyze supplier performance
• Track Compliance
• Train and Mentor Buyers - who are not direct reports.
Six Figure Salary plus Bonus.
