Location: Grand Rapids, MI
This is a full-time position with competitive pay, incentive pay and an excellent benefits package, which includes health, dental, vision and short and long term disability.
Salary: $39,500 to $41,000, depending on experience
Hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Universal Traffic Service is a leader in the outsourced logistics industry. Our Grand Rapids, Michigan office has an open position for Sales Development Representative. This is not your typical call center environment, but a small team of lead developers setting appointments for our Regional Sales Managers. The ideal candidate should be able to deliver unscripted responses in order to convert phone conversations into appointments.
The major duty of this position is obtaining appointments for our Regional Sales Managers by making lead generation calls. The right candidate will be able to achieve consistent quotas and possess strong communication skills, (oral and written) and a professional business voice.
To be successful, you must have:
- One year experience in outbound B2B cold calling experience
- Strong closing skills
- Ability to overcome objections
- Confident and articulate
- Ability to handle rejection
- Ability to professionally interact with VP and higher level executives
- Ability to make a high volume of outbound calls
It would be a plus to have:
- Experience setting sales appointments
- Outside sales experience
- Experience partnering with multiple field sales reps
