Customer Service & Logistics

Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) is where you'll integrate our end-to-end demand-driven supply chain. Working "from farm to shelf," you'll connect plants with customers to deliver best-in-class service in the most efficient way. Your goal will be to have the right products, at the right time, and with the right quantity and quality on the shelf.

Purpose of Role

The CPFR Analyst ensures Mondelēz (MDLZ) products are on customer shelves when and where our consumers need them. The role is critical to developing a high quality relationship with customer's Supply Chain team, and internal linkage between Sales, Demand and Supply to generate revenue while driving operational efficiencies.

The CPFR Analyst is responsible for critical decisions and recommendations impacting both the Customer and Mondelēz finished goods inventory. The individual must balance maximizing in-stock goals while minimizing inventory levels.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Accountable for building and maintaining a collaborative relationship with the customer and customer business team.
  • Responsible for meeting customer in-stock at store level with no out-of-stocks at the distribution centers.
  • Uses judgment to balance risk of "over forecasting", resulting in high inventory levels, cost and waste, versus "under forecasting" and missing out on potential sales opportunities.
  • Accountable for all forecasting inputs to the Demand Planning Tool (ADF):
  • Item Level Forecasting Template - "bottom's up" development of account team's annual operating plan.
  • Input to Demand - detailed communication to Demand Planning of all promotional and new item activity plans.
  • Period forecast revisions and 30/60/90 day forecast projections.
  • Item level deployment requirements for all promotion and new item introductions.
  • Point person for operational execution of all new item introduction changes. Creates execution plan and coordinates internally with account team, demand planning, supply, and category leadership to ensure a seamless transition to the new item.
  • Communicates progress on key customer scorecard measures to all internal and customer stakeholders. Accountable for recommendations and action plans for improvements.
  • Provides input and recommendations for the collaborative planning process, integrating customer specific data for sales trends, new items, modular changes and promotional performance.
  • Evaluates and presents analysis of past promotions. Uses this fact-based analysis to recommend changes to account team for future promotional activities.
  • Analyzes and makes forecast and inventory recommendations in support of all key promotions, seasonals, and new item introductions to drive maximum in-stock performance.
  • Responsible for all customer replenishment activities including:
  • CPFR events to support promotional and seasonal activity.
  • Ensures numerous item settings are properly maintained to ensure appropriate store level product replenishment.
  • Recommends CPFR policies to customer replenishment team.
  • Utilizes customer data to provide analytical support to Mondelēz Customer Business Team and Customer point of contact.
  • Effectively leverages customer reporting capabilities
  • Develops and implements on-going improvements for CPFR process.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 3 years experience in Supply Chain Management or Sales
    • Proficient in ADF, SAP, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel or Tableau
    • Experience within Consumer Product Goods (CPG) preferred
