The Inbound Outbound Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the execution of all office activities for the Santa Fe Springs warehouse. This Position requires an understanding of operational flow within a warehouse environment for consumer electronics or consumer goods. Coordinates the movement of material in and out of warehouse upon direction of customer orders. Performs routine data input related to warehouse inbounds and outbound moves. Responsible for creating pick sheet as determined by the customer and distributes them to the warehouse personnel for picking. Creates bill of ladings and other shipping documentation. Must enter all pertinent information into the proper warehouse management software systems. Enters all inbound customer product and identifies any shortages, overages, etc. Completes daily operations reports. Fast, efficient, and accurate office administrative work required. Extensive communications with customers, warehouse associates, drivers and transportation personnel. Computer files and hard document storage must be filed in a manner that facilitates easy retrieval for audit purposes. Responsible for the processing of all outbound orders, routing of shipments, preparing paperwork and labels, creating ASN's and any support needs in the warehouse. Other duties may be assigned. Follows all workplace processes and standards in support of the ISO-9001 Quality certification.

KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy & Planning

  • Arrange transport carrier pickups for orders after completing rate quotes.
  • Arrange pick up appointments and coordination of shipments, referring to due date.
  • Working knowledge of planning and controlling the efficient flow of goods once an order is received, starting from system entry until it departs location and the customer receives.

Acquisition & Deployment
  • Process orders in Microsoft AX Reserve/pick/invoice
  • Handle all aspects of reserving, creating pick list, labels, generating BOL's and invoicing

Operational Management
  • Create Load spreadsheets for both refurbished & new goods shipments and maintain for accuracy.
  • Prepare labels, pack slips, BOL's for the outbound shipments.
  • Route orders on customer web based sites, call in carriers for pickup.
  • Send advance shipping notices (ASN's) as required.
  • Process rapid exchange orders by printing pick lists then creating shipping labels.
  • Process RAC orders in IFS, batching so warehouse can create the packing slips and shipping labels.
  • Receive and send import invoices.
  • Research returns to both LA & OH warehouses and determine if a claim needs to be filed with carriers; if so, enter on claims log as necessary.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associates degree in the general education, logistics, and warehouse or business operations management is preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years related work experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Office.
  • Excellent analytical, project management and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving vehicles and mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, rarely to toxic or caustic chemicals, or the risk of electrical shock, and explosions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
