Customer Service Manager



We are looking for a full-time Customer Service Manager to join our shipping and logistics team. You will be managing a team of 7 customer service staff members. We are a full-service, asset-based Transportation Company. We provide a range of transportation and logistics solutions to many of the nation's largest companies. We pride ourselves in making the customer our priority and are looking for a manager who can ensure a premium customer service experience.

Requirements:
  • Passionate about customer service.
  • Lead by example and model behavior that reflects the company's core values.
  • Set clear expectations and hold team accountable to a high standard of excellence.
  • Set reasonable customer satisfaction goals and work with team to meet them consistently.
  • Interact with customers and vendors on a daily basis.
  • Take ownership of customers' issues and following up with issues until a resolution is found.
  • Analyze sand compile accurate reports.
  • Recruit, mentor and develop customer service associates and nurture an environment where they can excel through encouragement and training.
  • Develop service procedures, policies and standards.
  • Empower team by providing consistent training and coaching.

Qualifications:
  • 2 years of logistics/freight forwarding experience
  • 2 years of customer service management experience
  • Proficient PC skills to include Microsoft Office
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and to lead.
  • Sales and or shipping experience a plus.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.
